The Pink Affair: Makeup for the Cure:
POSTPONED until MARCH 2019
Exciting news! The Pink Affair is being postponed until March to correspond with Women’s History Month! The planning committee has thought a lot about this decision and we feel like it’s the best way to give enough time to create an amazing event and have it be equally meaningful for everyone involved. Women’s History Month is when we have a unique opportunity to fully express our gratitude and appreciate for the women in our personal families and beyond. Additionally, we celebrate the resilience, strength and tenacity of women throughout history. It’s a beautiful time to include cancer survivors specifically within that celebratory and empowering energy. Over the next few months, please keep watching for updates and more information as we get closer to the new date. Thank you so very much for showing your support and being willing to be a part of the celebration! we are so very grateful and we look forward to seeing you in March!
The Pink Affair: Makeup for the Cure!
Come enjoy a day full of celebrating your beauty!
MOVE Makeup, in partnership with Feed First and other amazing organizations, is creating a day to empower and celebrate courageous cancer survivors through the magic of beauty!
On Nov. 17th, cancer survivors and patients (with a doctor’s approval) will receive FREE makeup makeovers and hair styling (provided by Taneisha Mazique). They will then be invited to walk down the Survivor Runway and be individually celebrated for the beautiful being they are!
The day will be filled with entertainment, healthy food and general merriment. We are inviting not just cancer survivors, but their supporters, friends and family as well! Come support and celebrate the survivor in your life!

I know firsthand the power of looking in the mirror and loving what you see. This is not always easy, especially when struggling with a disease as debilitating and life altering as cancer. In this small way, we can help these beautiful women warriors embrace their innate beauty and see it shining through with just a little touch of makeup “magick” here and there.
Because of MOVE Makeup’s sweatproof and most importantly natural nature, there is no worry of our makeup adding more toxins and irritants for anyone’s immune system to deal with. You can wear MOVE Makeup and not worry about compromising your health for beauty. This is my small gift to the women of my community dealing with such a difficult thing.
